IT for Retail and Online Commerce

Retail breaks at the joints rather than at the storefront: stock, payment, delivery, marketplaces. That is where we work.

Who it is for

· Stores that sell both offline and online
· Wholesalers with dealer accounts
· Sellers on marketplaces who want a channel of their own
· Brands that outgrew a social media account

Problems we solve

· An item was sold in the shop and is still in stock on the website
· Prices are updated in the accounting system and copied to the site by hand
· Marketplace orders are collected in a separate spreadsheet
· Payments are connected, but refunds are issued in the provider dashboard
· The customer does not know where the order is and calls

What is included

· Exchange of stock, prices and orders with your accounting system
· Payment acceptance and refunds from your own system
· Delivery services connected with cost calculation
· Wholesale accounts with their own price lists
· Order states the customer can see without calling

What we can build

· An online store with a catalogue, filters and payments
· A wholesale portal with price lists per customer group
· An integration layer between the site, the accounting system and marketplaces
· A mobile app for the store

How we work

· We study the inventory: where the truth about stock and price is kept
· We design the exchange and agree its direction and frequency
· We build the storefront and connect payments
· We test the whole order path, including cancellation and refund
· We launch and watch the first orders together with you

Frequently asked questions

Does the exchange with accounting software really work?
Yes, it is a standard part of the job: items, stock, prices, orders. What needs discussion is the direction and the frequency. Sometimes an hourly export is enough and sometimes real time is required, and the two cost differently.
Is a marketplace enough for us?
For testing demand it is, and starting there is sensible. Your own store matters when you need your own customer base, your own discount rules and the margin a platform takes. We often suggest keeping the marketplace as a channel and adding a site next to it.
How long until the store is live?
From two weeks. The longest part is preparing the catalogue rather than development: photos, descriptions, attributes and category rules. If the catalogue is ready and exports from your accounting system, the timeline shortens noticeably.

Have an idea for a new product, or need to grow an existing one?

Tell us about the task. We will study it and propose an option that makes sense technically and economically.
