Technical Partner for SaaS Companies

We know what hurts in a subscription product: isolation of customer data, billing, and onboarding a new customer without a developer.

Who it is for

· Product teams that already have paying customers
· Teams that outgrew one installation per customer and are drowning in support
· Companies selling an internal tool to the outside world

Problems we solve

· Customer data sits in one database and nobody can prove it does not overlap
· Subscriptions are counted by hand and plan changes are recalculated in a spreadsheet
· Onboarding a customer takes days and a developer
· Every customer was promised a tweak, and now there are as many versions as customers

What is included

· Multi-tenancy with isolation that can be tested
· Billing: plans, limits, plan changes with recalculation, suspension and resumption
· Self-service onboarding without your team
· Roles and permissions inside a customer account
· Product metrics that show who uses the product and who is leaving

What we can build

· A SaaS platform from zero to a first version
· A move of an existing product to a multi-tenant scheme
· Billing and subscriptions on top of a running product
· Customer accounts and an API

How we work

· We describe the product model: plans, limits, roles
· We build an MVP around one key scenario
· We connect payments and test the whole subscription path, including a failed charge
· We launch and watch how the first customers behave
· We grow the product by metrics rather than by a wish list

Frequently asked questions

Can customer data leak between tenants?
Isolation is built into the data schema and verified by tests rather than promised. We built a multi-tenant payment platform for an agent network, where a leak between tenants would have meant somebody else money on somebody else screen. The requirements there are stricter than in a typical SaaS.
When does the first version appear?
An MVP with one key scenario takes from four weeks. A full product is built in parts, so you get something to show a customer earlier and we get feedback earlier.
Can our own team take over development?
Yes. The code, the documentation and the credentials are yours from the start. We work so that your team can be brought into the project, not so that nothing builds without us.

Have an idea for a new product, or need to grow an existing one?

Tell us about the task. We will study it and propose an option that makes sense technically and economically.
